“Halleluiah! A Spring Revival!” April 16th, at 4:00 p.m., the Chorale performed a benefit concert at and for the Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts. Joyful sacred music along with gospel and other jubilant traditional selections were interspersed with interesting and whimsical facts about each piece by Director, Dr. Vincent Jones-Centeno. The concert ended with Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus”.
Along with great music the audience was treated to another special occasion. Charlene Larsen, for whom the Center for the Performing Arts was named, was presented a self portrait, which will be hung in the inner lobby of the Larsen Center.
