“The Macrabre”
North Coast Chorale has chosen this daring title, “The Macabre”, to emphasize the beauty that can be found if only one looks for it. NCC will be singing medleys from “Phantom of the Opera”, “Sweeny Todd”, and “Little Shop of Horrors”. These are dark stories that are spiced with humor. This mixture of loving melodies, sweet harmonies, and inventive accompaniment demonstrate not only the versatility of the Chorale’s talent, but also the light within each human that can be found amid darkness.
Also featured in “The Macabre” are the dance and vocal students of the Astoria Conservatory performing a medley from “Matilda”
